Chapter 3
As soon as Yasmine said that, others turned to look at Ryan warily. Some even retreated, deliberately keeping a distance from him.
"Yasmine, are you crazy? I haven't even dealt with you! Do you think I'm being too nice about this?"
Ryan was pissed off and immediately wanted to attack Yasmine.
In the past, he thought hitting a woman was shameless and the most unmanly behavior. But he didn't feel that way anymore.
Women like Yasmine should get punished!
She glared at him, shouting coldly, "Hit me if you dare to! Don't even think I'll let this matter off lightly! It's the fact that you wanted to kill me when we were at sea!
"When we return, I'll tell my parents about this! I'll sue you to make you pay for what you've done! I'm not that easy to bully!"
Ryan was furious. He stood up, pointed at Yasmine, and scolded, "You'll make me pay? Aren't you the one who should pay the most?
"I treated you so well that I've always paid for our marriage and that bullshit love! I worked hard to make money, but you betrayed me! What price do you think you should pay?"
She looked at him coldly. "You're always a loser, only knowing to complain. If you could make money and give me the happy life I wanted, I wouldn't have forced you to divorce.
"You never knew what I wanted. You couldn't fulfill my wishes either. But it shouldn't be your reason to kill me!
"Just wait and see. I'll call the police and tell your parents about this! I'll let them know how cruel you are! You're just trash who dares to kill his wife!"
"Damn it! I'll kill you now!"
Ryan couldn't bear his anger any longer and rushed toward Yasmine, intending to strangle this annoying woman to death.
Even if he might spend the rest of his life in jail, he would accept this fate!
Sherry and several other women immediately stood up to protect Yasmine, looking at Ryan with hostility.
"Logically speaking, we have nothing to do with your grudges. But we can't have a violent murderer by our side.
"Please leave. Don't stay with us. You should settle your business with the law after returning," Sherry said coldly.
"She cheated on me. She is seeing another man. Do you think she did the right thing?" Ryan asked, glaring at them.
"No matter what she has done, you can't kill her. She's your wife. You're so heartless that you want to kill her!"
"We shouldn't have saved him and let him drown! Sir, please leave now. There are so many of us. It's quite easy to deal with you."
"I've never seen such a weird man like you! She just cheated on you and had the man she loved, but you wanted to kill her! You're like the terrible man in a movie who drowned his wife. You're so disgusting!"
Several other women accused him.
Ryan was pissed off, not expecting those women to think in this way. Was cheating acceptable? Should Yasmine be forgiven?
"You brainless women! If I really wanted to kill her, how could she survive until now? Yasmine, you can sue me if you want!
"I'll be a dimwit if I surrender to you again! Just wait and see! You trash woman! Sooner or later, you'll get punished!"
After speaking fiercely, he turned around and walked toward the beach behind.
Yasmine still sat on the ground coldly, ignoring Ryan's threat as she knew him very well. She could deal with him easily.
As he walked on the beach, Ryan looked unpleasant. His dislike of Yasmine had reached the extreme.
He had walked a long way. After the fatigue of his legs offset some of his anger, he realized a problem—how could he hold on alone for the next few days?
He licked his chapped lips, turned to look at the coconut trees over there, and walked over. He climbed up with difficulty and picked a few coconuts.
Then, he smashed the coconuts on the stone and drank the water from two coconuts in one breath.
Standing on the coastline, he looked at the endless tidal sea. He subconsciously took a lighter and a cigarette case from his trouser pocket, but the cigarettes were soaked in seawater. He couldn't smoke at all.
Ryan squeezed the cigarette case and walked forward, looking for the indigenous people on the island. But he found no trace of humans and soon discovered a serious fact—the beach was too clean. Except for broken shells and endless sand, there was no garbage at all.
It revealed two facts. First, no one lived on this island. Second, fishermen had never come to this island.
Moreover, Ryan also realized something more serious, but that thought was extremely terrifying. He forced himself not to think in that way.
When the seawater receded, he walked on the shallow beach where the water receded, looking for edible seafood. After searching for a while, he finally picked up some strange-shaped conches and a stranded sea fish.
He went to collect some dry firewood and built a woodpile. After lighting the fire with his lighter, he put all the conches next to the fire. He also used a wooden stick to string the sea fish, roasting it on the fire.
After roasting them, he endured the heat to eat two conches first. Then, he tore the burnt skin of the sea fish, eating the fish meat.
"Uh, can you share some food with me? I'm hungry. I also want to eat fish."
A sudden voice startled Ryan. He immediately grabbed the wooden stick and turned to look at the woman standing not far away warily.
He knew her. She had introduced herself before as Nina Greene, a model.
"Why should I?"
Ryan turned around, continuing to eat the fish indifferently.
"I was on a diet and didn't eat breakfast. I haven't eaten for a day. I'm hungry. It's your wife's fault for cheating on you and betraying you.
"You didn't kill her. I saw that you saved her instead. If you share some food with me, I'll be your witness when your wife sues you."
Nina walked over and sat beside him, full of sincerity.
Ryan handed the half-eaten fish to her. "I don't need you to be my witness. First of all, I didn't do anything. Secondly, she doesn't have any evidence. She can't do anything to me."
She took the stick, tore off a large piece of fish, and stuffed it into her mouth. She nodded and said, "You don't have to worry actually. Because we probably won't be able to return."
He turned his head sharply, looking at her in shock.
