Chapter 9

Claire gets into her car and drives away. She stops over by a friend's house who has a beauty salon. She parks in front of her house and gives her a call. "Hi Sandra, are you in the house?" Claire asks her as she picks the call. "Hey, what's up Claire? I'm not in but I'm on my way home. Is there any problem?" Sandra asks from the other end. "Not really. I'm at your house, I'll be waiting for you." Claire replies. "I don't want to keep you waiting. Why don't you just pick up my lock and wait inside? It'll take like thirty minutes for me to get back home because I'm stuck here with an old client who I have to finish working on before closing." Sandra explains. "But you just said that you are on your way home. Alright, I'll be waiting for you." Claire replies as she hangs up after her friend replies to her.
