Chapter 56 – Only One Bed

Jacob let out a husky growl as he stared into Cassidy’s hazel eyes. His wolf was howling with excitement, seeing the need and desire that were reflecting back at them. Cassidy giggled as she tried to hide her red cheeks from Jacob. He opened the door slowly and carefully stepped into the cozy space. She gasped as she took in all the details of the homely place. Flowers were situated in small vases to give the cabin a more personal touch. “Oh, Jacob,” she breathed out. “I hope you will feel comfortable here,” he told her as he gently placed her on the couch. He situated the pillows and propped her leg so it had the proper support. “I’m going to get the rest of your things from my SUV.
