Chapter 515 You Bit the Wrong Place
Freya nodded.
Agni hid behind a towering tree. He felt uneasy as he watched the scene.
Felix had no boundaries when he fell in love, displaying affection at any time and place.
He stared at how tightly intertwined their hands, wondering if the Felix he used to know was just an illusion.
Moe sighed, "Agni, seeing Felix and Ms. Lawson so sweet like this makes me want to fall in love too."
On Leiton Island, all the disciples were single—Agni included, despite being an heir to a prestigious family. With Felix being the first among them to hold hands with someone successfully, they sincerely envy him.
"Felix must've been faking it before when he said he was allergic to women. It was all just an excuse."
"Exactly! His flirting skills are way too good. Look how happy Ms. Lawson looks. They don’t seem like they just started dating ... "
"Could Felix and Ms. Lawson have known each other before?"
When someone said that, everyone looked at each other in astonishment.
Agni chuckled. "Come on, that's ridiculous. Remember when Queen Sally wanted to introduce Felix to a young disciple? He flat-out refused. If they were interested in each other, why would they come to Leiton Island for a blind date? They would've been together ages ago."
"Yeah, Agni’s got a point."
Everyone still found it unlikely. All eyes turned to the two people in front.
At this moment, Bradley had already walked far away from Freya.
The group hurried to catch up.
Just as they got too close, Freya suddenly turned around, causing everyone to dive into the bushes in a panic.
"Ouch!"
Moe cried out in pain.
Fearing they might alert the couple, Agni quickly clamped a hand over Moe’s mouth. "Shh! If Felix finds out, we won’t be able to follow them anymore."
"But ... my butt hurts!" Moe showed a pained expression, feeling a fiery pain in his buttocks and gasping for breath.
The disciples helped Moe up and discovered that he had accidentally sat on a snake, which had bitten him.
"Buddy, you bit the wrong place."
Agni pressed down on the snake, threw it to the ground, and then checked Moe's buttocks.
Two distinct bite marks, clearly poisonous.
Without hesitation, Agni cut open Moe’s pants and squeezed out the venom.
After finishing up, he turned to the others. "Get Moe back for treatment. I’ll catch up with Felix and keep you posted in the group chat if there’s anything new. We’ll share the news later."
With that, Agni set off.
He was eager to see how Felix had won Ms. Lawson’s heart.
It was known that Felix had a condition where he couldn’t touch women, but now he was holding hands and even kissing. It was astonishing!
Look at those tightly clasped hands …
The depth of emotion in their eyes …
It did not look like a new relationship at all. They’re clearly like a couple deeply in love for a long time.
He was curious. How did these two people hit it off? When did Felix's touchy issue with women get resolved?
"How long are you planning to follow us?"
Just then, a dangerous and sharp voice broke his thoughts.
Agni froze, looked up, and met Bradley’s piercing gaze. He instantly turned into a performer.
"Felix! What a surprise to run into you here! Oh, Ms. Lawson is also here ... "
Agni approached them confidently, wearing a playful smile as if it were a chance encounter.
Bradley's cold gaze fell on Agni.
Agni couldn't help but shudder and looked up at the sky. "The weather is lovely today, clear skies and fresh air—perfect for a walk! Felix, you haven’t been around for a while. Things have changed a bit!"
Bradley ignored him and held Freya's hand as they continued to walk. Agni quickly caught up with them.
"There's a stream up ahead with crystal-clear, sweet mountain spring water. I was planning to bring some back for tea. Enjoying tea and the moon with fellow disciples in the evening will be nice—how wonderful life is!"
"Agni, you have great taste. May I join you?"
Freya smiled and raised her eyebrows, spotting a little stream ahead.
Sunshine illuminated the water. What a wonderful natural creation.
Agni nodded enthusiastically. "Of course, we’d be delighted to have Ms. Lawson join us!"
The three of them headed towards the stream. From a distance, they could hear the clear, melodic sound of water flowing, like celestial music.
Up close, the stream was clear with floating green leaves, free of pollution.
Freya bent down, cupped a handful of water, took a sip, and was pleasantly surprised by its subtle sweetness.
She carefully surveyed the surroundings and found several precious herbs, including valuable Ganoderma and saffron.
Each bud was full of spiritual essence and covered in forest dew, a premium product in traditional medicine.
"Can we bring back some of this mountain spring water? I want to use it to make medicine and give Mr. Young a daily bath, along with other medicinal ingredients. It might help with his condition."
Acupuncture could stimulate nerves and improve blood circulation, but combining it with internal nourishment was crucial.
Warren's condition was unique and required external adjustments and internal care for a gradual recovery. Even if he woke up, it would take time.
But ... miracles did happen.
"Of course, I'll have my fellow disciples come to fetch the water immediately," Agni said, and then made a phone call.
Ten minutes later, a group of disciples arrived carrying water buckets. Freya watched the scene and was slightly stunned.
"There's no need for so much. One bucket is enough," Freya said, waving her hand.
Agni smiled. "It's okay, Ms. Lawson. We'll get more. If there's any leftover, you can use it for bathing. I heard this mountain spring water is great for nourishing and beautifying the skin."
Freya got lost for words.
She could practically swim in it with so many buckets of water.
Without saying much, she tiptoed closer to Bradley and whispered, "I'm going to gather some herbs."
"Okay, I'll come with you."
The two walked forward, and Freya looked joyfully at the saffron flowers.
She reached out to pick them up, but Bradley raised his hand to stop her. "I'll do it."
The forest was dangerous, and many poisonous snakes lurked among the flowers and shrubs.
He didn’t want her to get hurt.
He handed her the saffron flowers with a warm smile. "If you need anything else, just let me know. I'll pick it for you."
