Xander's eyes snapped at the source of the growl, there Daniel was looking at him with pure menacing hate. And on the other side, Logan was on his feet, with his clenched fists and scowl on his face. Xander’s presence provided a sense of grounding and security to me, making me blush a little. Xander’s eyes flashed with anger and unrestrained anger and he unleashed it upon Daniel, by letting out a powerful Alpha bark, making everyone's knees tremble, including me. Except for Henry, Daniel, and me, everyone was on their knees, in front of Xander. Henry was standing unflinched, but I noticed that Daniel’s knees were trembling as if his Wolf didn’t care at all about his well being. I frowned at that. As far as I knew, my father was a powerful Alpha, but this shows that his power was lacking. “You think harming my mate is an easy task and you can get away with that. Then you are mistaken Daniel, if a single hair was harmed on her body, I would have made you all pay.” Xander growled at them.
