Chapter 26 - The Hunter in the Hospital

August heaved a sigh of relief as he stepped backward. Not too far from him was a cuboidal structure that contained wires and switches, they were connected to the hospital building before him. The structure was responsible for electricity transmission into the building, he held a small dagger to his lips and licked the tip. "I'm glad I didn't lick it when it was still connected," he ended with a cruel laugh and turned away. "The hospital must have gone dark, and the residents will be thrown in pandemonium." He could hear footsteps heading speedily in his direction. Grinning to himself, he continued monologuing. "I count four, no five different sets of footsteps. I usually forget to count them as short ones. When normal people walk, they usually have to run to keep up with them," he ended with a demeaning snigger. "But still, it makes no sense. Sure, I have disabled the lines and there's a power outage in the hospital but they don't usually respond this early. Something is going on
