♡ Lauren’s POV ♡ Twenty minutes later, I'm knocking on Magee's door. I tapped my foot impatiently. I jumped up when the door opened unexpectedly fast. His blue eyes fell guiltily into mine. Why did he feel guilty? His nose looks broken and there is a cut on his lip. He still looks handsome. I looked away at the door like it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen. Okay, this is embarrassing! "Well, aren't you going to invite me in? I asked, biting my lower lip. He cleared his throat. "Yes, come in! ” He went to scratch the back of his head. I rolled my eyes at him and stormed in. "We need to work on this project in my room, so let's go upstairs.” He was already upstairs as he spoke. "You mean I'm the one who's going to do the project! ” I retorted sarcastically and closed the door. He shrugged and said, "Same thing.” I raised my eyebrows. This guy has a lot of brass.” No, it isn't.” I told him and followed him upstairs. "Will you stop complaining?
