Dr. Hemingway claimed that she was one of his few close friends, but he was hers as well. A genuine friend was hard to come by nowadays, and now that he was leaving, there was an unfamiliar sense of hollowness in her heart. Charles stood in front of her and blocked the view. “Have you not seen enough of him? Do you want me to call him back?” “Are you jealous?” Sophia asked. Charles let out a soft snort and he did not seem happy at all. The uncomfortable feeling in Sophia’s chest was immediately forgotten when she saw the sulky expression on his face. She reached out for his hand and said, “What’s there to be jealous about?
