AURORA. In the afternoon, Nathaniel texted me the address of the restaurant where I was to meet with him and his sister. My joy knew no bounds from winning the bid and I could barely sit still long enough to put on makeup. After poking myself in the eye numerous times with my eyeliner, I finally finished applying my makeup, grabbed my purse and my phone and went downstairs to find my Uber.
