Kaveh's mind was far from at ease as he paced his chambers' floor, his footsteps gentle on the plush carpets.
It had been alarming enough when Arman had stumbled into the council room, looking as if he had been dragged from the clutches of death.
What disturbed him the most, though, was the way his son pointed at Kian with a finger that trembled in accusation.
