Chapter 74

She breathed deeply in and out to calm her wolf and herself. Her first thought was to make a guess and beat up Kate and pull Seth away from her. But guesses never did any good. She talked as calmly as she could and slowly walked into the room, a good distance away from the two of them. "Seth, Kate, what's going on?" she asked. Kate was silent, her face still against Seth's chest. Her hand rested on his chest while her other hand held his bicep. This made Sarah very uncomfortable, as it was far too close for her liking. Seth, on the other hand, seemed to be going crazy. He was shaking, his skin was pale. Almost as if he was on the verge of fainting. Thunder wanted to pull Kate off of him and noticed that she made no indication that she was uncomfortable hugging him. Noting that he was hugging her because he felt bad, Sarah decided it was time to intervene once and for all before things took a turn for the worse. She blinked once and ordered, "Kate, let him go." Kate automatically let go
