LAURENT'S POV The moment we arrived at the house, I felt her arms around my waist. Alaris asked us if we want to go to camp but Arleigh insisted her stomach felt like burning because of the acid in her system and she wants to go home. But I know she wants to talk to me about...everything. I held her arms before I turned to face her. I couldn't stand the look on her face as though she was sorry for something she didn't even do. I cupped her face and gave her a kiss. "I'm sorry I made you worried," she said the moment we broke the kiss. Earlier I was about to lose my mind when I realized he was taken by the rogues. Even crazier when I figured it was Lance. But now, I couldn't explain the relief that washed over me when I see her safe. "Earlier," she said, furrowing her brows. "I heard you inside my head.
