My hand holding the fork paused for a few seconds.  Well, I liked Tagliata, but how was it related to my life?  Besides, I didn't feel like my life had been all that bad lately, and I didn't know how Nora had come to that conclusion.  To be honest, I was a little unhappy, but I didn't show it.  I just slowed down my eating speed, not wanting to invite any more comments from Nora.  However, Nora diverted her attention toward Lucas and posed a question, "Hey Lucas, has your mom been on a tight leash lately? That guy been controlling her every move?" Lucas thought for a bit before responding, "Yeah, he's been pretty strict. Always making sure she takes her meds, gets enough rest, and even checks her food. But the doctor says it's for her own good."  Nora rolled her eyes and said, "Ugh, aren't those doctors just pawns of his too?
