Chapter 3 EVERYTHING TOO BE GOOD TO BE TRUE

AUTHOR POV: Amalfalfi was a very beautiful town of the country far away from their big cities but not backward in moderation. Just somewhere you can find the peace you want, running away from the city's busy life. Another busy day for all town people. It was almost time for town kids to return from their schools. Students who went to universities usually had to go to a big city to get their education. But many of them were college graduates busy handling their parents' work, knowing the prestige of family business. While in one house, a woman in her late 60s was sitting on her house lawn, staring at the door. Waiting for someone's arrival. Her tough facial expressions showed very well she had seen the world and all types of people. But they started getting soft and finally, a smile appeared, seeing a familiar car enter the street. The car belonged to none other than Mr. Massimo, the father of Mia, who came with his daughter and her friend to spend summer in his old town. And the lady waiting for them was Eleanora. Mia's grandmother and Massimo's mother. "Nonna (granny)." Mia jumped out of the car like a five-year-old and ran towards her grandmother, not caring about anything. "My neonata (baby girl)." her granny replied smiling brightly, seeing the reason for her living and caught her in a motherly hug. "I missed you Nonna (Granny)," Mia said, circling her arms around her grandmother tightly, inhaling the scent she missed for so long. Her granny was more like a mother she never had. "I missed you more, bimbo (baby girl.)" The grandmother replied, patting her back to show the same love in response. "Is the son welcomed or this offer only for granddaughter?" Mr. Massimo asked, looking at them adoringly. "Come here, you naughty boy," Eleanora said, chuckling in her old cracked voice. "Why are you standing there?" Mia asked, looking at her bestie, who was staring at everyone silently from a little far. She had a good background. Both parents are mostly busy all the time. And she felt poor when she saw people having perfect families like this. "Who is this cute kid?" Eleanora asked, looking at the young girl inquiringly. "Hi. I am Lea. Mia's best friend." lea said, taking slow steps towards them. Who knew the famous party animal could be shy at times like this. "You poor fella. Look how slim you are. Come here figlia (daughter)." Eleanora said, opening her arms welcoming Lea, and she ran in her arms to get the lovely hug she just envied seeing Mia and her father getting just before. Everyone soon got busy taking off the bags with servants and chatting in their sitting area. "You two look tired. Have an afternoon nap and I will wake you at dinner." Eleanora said, looking at the dull faces of both girls, who only sat in the car for a few hours. But their endless chatting dried all the energy out of them. "Okay, Nonna. See you in the evening." Mia said, pecking her granny cheek, and went to her old room. After washing her face and changing into her comfortable clothes she went to close the curtains, and it was bright outside, and she was used to sleeping in the dark and just then she saw the greenery area a little far away from town. "This forest is still the same. Is the castle still there?" She tried to look, but the sun was too bright, and she gave up the idea of finding the sun. "? need to sleep, " she said, yawning and closed the curtains. [AFTER FEW HOURS]: "Bimbo (baby girl). Wake up. Dinners ready." Mia heard someone calling her, but she didn't felt the urge to break her peaceful slumber. "Let me sleep," Mia said in her sleepy tone. "If my bimbo (baby girl) keeps sleeping, then your favorite cheese Lasagna will be left sad on the table." her eyes shot open hearing her most favorite dish and got up in a swift motion. "No. I will eat it. You know I love your cooking Nonna (Granny)." Mia said smiling. "And what about my cooking?" Mr. Massimo asked, standing at her room door. "Well I like your cooking, but I love Nonna (granny) cooking so much," Mia said honestly. "My Principessa (princesses) never lies, does she. " Mr. Massimo said, feeling proud at her little act as he knew she was just like her mother. She was the perfect lady, even in her youth. "Be at the table in five minutes," Eleanora said, getting up and leaving with Mr. Massimo. "I never tasted Lasagna this tasty before. Those seven-star certified chefs are nothing compared to your grandaunt." Lea praised the food for almost a tenth of the time, while everyone chuckled again. "You are such a sweet talker," Eleanora replied, happy to have this much life and moving into her dull house once again. "What is my bimbo (baby girl), up to these days?" Eleanora asked in the middle of their talk. "Nothing much. I plan to take some good pics before the end of the holiday." Mia answered. "So my bimbo (baby girl) wants to become a model now," Eleanora said. "No. She takes pictures of mature people. Mostly trees and forests or very old places which just become natural after so much time." Lea said at once. "Talking of forest. People still don't like to go there?" Mia asked her granny. "It's not a safe place for humans. We should stay away from cursed places." Eleanora said after pausing a little. "Come one Madre (mother). Nothing like this exists. Stop believing in rumours and scaring the young girls." Mr. Massimo said this time. "They are not rumours soon. Many people have lost their lives and sanity entering the creature's territory without permission." Eleanora said seriously. "It's because of wild animals Madre (mother). They don't keep it in mind. Nothing like creatures and monsters exist." He said, repeating the facts he has almost been saying since his middle school days. "Do you mean creatures which live in the dark? Like evil creatures which eat humans?" Lea asked, shocked. DON'T FORGET TO ADD THIS STORY TO LIBRARY AND SHOW SUPPORT!!!
