Chapter 16 NO DIFFERENT THAN THE BEAST

AUTHORS POV: He didn t care what happened after all this. The killing was never a big thing for him. and doing it in front f her was a little new for him for sure. He never wanted to see himself as a hatred monster in front of her eyes. But it all happened. His all efforts went into no use and he just lost control over his beastly side and ended up showing his true form in front of his queen. Henry was marching back and forth in his castle room. After returning from her home. How hurt she was only after seeing him turn into his real form. His worry wasn t that she saw his real self. It's just he knew his beastly side is too hard to control and afraid if she didn t accept him as a whole then things will not turn out to be good for anyone in the end. ' My lord. Why don t you give orders? I will remove her memories of tonight. His closest minion asked worried seeing his master walk like that. It was for the very first time he saw him worried like that. It was well known in their race that men were crazy for their females. And they loved to provide food and shelter for their mates but this type of care from the alphas and especially the alpha king was a bog dream of every female Luna in the pack. Henry stopped in his tracks after hearing him and looked back at him inquiringly. His blank expressions made it impossible to guess what was going inside his master s mind. But he dared not to say a single more word. ' I can t keep her in the dark forever. I just want to find a way to make her surrender without hurting herself any further. Henry's words were accepted by his servant but his soft side was still very surprising to him. ' Which female dares to reject you, my lord. You can use her weakness against her to make her surrender in a way she will not be able to do much at the end. His evil words were worth the try but Henry had much bogger plans ahead. Just using these small excuses to capture her forever wasn t enough for him and he knew he must get his work done before she starts going away from him. ' Get your men here as soon as possible. Henry ordered changing into his beastly formed howling at the end making all servants obey his command and ran in his predatory speed towards his mate's house. He could still smell her scent from the routes she took to go back home like every day. And removing them with his dominating alpha scent was his daily workout as well. he loved the reason how she kept her window open while sleeping as he didn t have to make much effort entering her room at the night. Climbing through the wall to the balcony and entering inside her room was piece of cake for him. He inhaled a deep breath mesmerized by her lovely scent. ' Mate… he sneered turning on just by having a little bit of her scent. He took light steps and reached her bed. Her naughty hair covered her face from his sight which he didn t like at all. no matter how much he loved her hair. Seeing her face was his top priority. He was addicted to her to some extreme level even he couldn t describe himself. ' So beautiful. He whispered removing her hair with his hand. Looking at his big hand he was scared to hurt her like he did to the boy earlier and changed back to his human form. It was dark in her room so he creased her little features on her face with his fingers carefully not wanting to be harsh with his touches. He wondered how could someone be this beautiful? Only one feeling ran through his running blood and that was his possessiveness over her. Her beauty was a threat to herself. ' How can I let you roam free when you are so precious to me. Only days my love. I will snatch you from everyone and no one will be able to stop me. His plans were scary as him. the level of fright his words could give to her if she heard them by herself. Getting scared was her biggest weakness and he knew it very well. but when did the evil king consider these things? People who lived with him thousands of years ago could never believe what a Romeo he became for a little human weak like her. He was getting impatient just by looking at her from here. Why can t I just do more when I am already here with her? I have all rights to make love with her after all? these were the thoughts surrounding him when he started humming her nicknames in his low voice but soon got caught by her. ' Mi Amore… she heard a husky voice singing a song. What was going around? She opened her eyes to see her room dark. What time was it, she didn t know? After having an artificial sleep given by the doctor's medicine it was a little difficult for her to wake up that fast. But it was not the only question right now. ' You are up, mate. she heard a familiar voice sitting beside her on the bed. It wasn t that scary monster this time up to her shock. But even if it was him this time, she would have surely believed in it. As it was no joke anymore. Her all assumptions of those realistic nightmares turn into a horrifying reality she didn t want to believe at any time. She saw henry sitting there. But was there any difference in them now. As she saw him turning into that scary monster with her own eyes earlier. How much she wished she could undo what she saw earlier but it was all a scary reality. Her biggest wish was for this nightmare to end soon. But it wasn t even the start yet. ' You stay away. You are that monster. You hurt… She started speaking everything and still can t believe what all happened earlier. Her innocence was the biggest reason for her to end up like this every time. She was the beauty with the curse of her endless naiveness. ' don t call me a monster mate. He or me. We are the same. And we love you so much. He said tilting his head on one side when she turned on her side lamp. She had enough of getting scared in the dark every time. Seeing him in his human form she had this feeling that her family could save her from his evil clothes. But that was her biggest problem. As no one in the world could save her from him at this time. ' Why? she asked heartbrokenly. Her tone made him feel his almost nonexistent heart which only beat for her ache. He wondered what made her this sad like this. While she still could not wash away her memory of him being with another woman. She hated him for betraying her like that. For making her think of him as such a good man. She hated herself for acting like a fool and fooling for a monster like him. never in her wildest dreams had she ever dreamt of it all to be true. But here she was struck with him late at this time of night. Her voice didn t have enough power to scream her family members' names and call for help. ' You freed me from my curse love. How could I not fall in love with you? He replied forwarding his hand slowly to touch her lovely face but she flinched and moved back as much as she could. He didn t like it at all. she belonged to him the moment he set his eyes on her. And now she was not allowed to resist him after driving him insane after herself. ' No. I didn t do anything like that. Please leave me alone. She pleaded in her soft velvety voice making him sneer at her lovely voice. How much he wanted to devour her right away. ' It s no use to neglect it, my love. And I will never leave you alone from now own. His words were sweet at all no matter how soft he tried to sound. ' Why did you hurt him? she asked scared to hear about the worse part. She didn t know what happened to her friend Italo after getting his beating. ' He dared to set his eyes on Evil king s queen. So, I punished him for that. He said satisfied remembering how merciless he beat the pulp out of that boy. ' No. he didn t mess with any queen. He is a good person. You misunderstood. She tried to take his side without even knowing the complete meaning behind his words. ' He purposed to my queen. He might be a good boy. But not anymore. He said proudly as he showed he was the alpha claiming over his female. ' Why not anymore? she asked confused and a little scared at the same time. She didn t know why her heartbeat was this fast asking this question. All she wanted right now was for Italo to be somewhere safe and sound. But fate wasn t letting her have any of it. ' I killed him technically. But you passed out and I needed to carry you before you touched the ground so he is in a coma right now. but trust me will not survive for more than a day or two. He said casually like someone would announce a day schedule to someone. She didn t know how to react at this point. She looked at him shocked and fear mixed orbs which soon started their non-stop waterwork. He looked at her little surprised as for him making her cry was only when he got too much physical with her. But he wondered what was the reason this time when he was the sole reason for her this state right now. ' don t cry my queen. I don t like to see you this hurt. Hearing him call herself queen she understood he was referring to her earlier as queen. She shook her head negatively rapidly hugging her knees. Just the thought of getting touched by his bloody hands from earlier frightened her to some next level. But on the other hand, he didn t like to see her move back like this at all. no matter how hard he tried to act soft with her and hide his beastly side she did the exact opposite. ' Your family will also end up like him if you dare to resist me more. His words weren t calm like before at all. she looked back at him and found the consequences along with the threat in his electric blue eyes. Eyes which reminded of her that mesmerizing portrait in the castle the day she visited with her friend for the first time. She now knew it was him her grandmother used to warn about which no one took seriously earlier. ' I-I will stay quiet. Don t hurt my family please. She spoke with her trembling lips. Her submissive from demanded him to do much more than hut sees her from this close.
