Chapter 41 Concern
Benson had originally planned to come over and apologize. After all, it had been several days since Sierra hadn't reached out to him.
Recalling what Timothy had said, he felt maybe he had gone too far that day and decided to make things right.
However, as soon as he reached the neighborhood, he saw a sanitation worker pulling a cardboard box out of the trash. Inside were all the memories he and Sierra had shared.
Handmade crafts, a couple of mugs, keychains, and even photos of them together—all of it had been thrown.
His anger flared up immediately, and he carried the box upstairs without a second thought. "Sierra, you've gone too far!"
Benson's fury was clear, his veins bulging on his forehead, and the anger in his chest seemed like it would explode any moment.
Sierra looked up and saw the large bruise on his forehead and the shallow cut on his cheek. A pang of concern hit her instinctively.
But then she remembered those injuries were caused by Sophie and her gaze turning cold
