"Answer me!" Macy pushed hard, and Roxanne lost her balance, almost falling. Even so, her arm still hit the edge of the table. Clifford gave Roxanne a look, signaling her to leave. "Just go. Don't argue with your mother anymore." Roxanne looked at him, put the divorce certificate back in her bag, and walked out the door. Behind her, she could hear Macy shouting, "I don't care if you have to cry or beg—you have to remarry Sebastian!" Tears suddenly fell down Roxanne's cheeks, but she kept her back straight and refused to show weakness. She got into the car, staring blankly ahead for a long time before finally starting the engine and driving away. She arrived at the hotel and rode the elevator to her floor. As she walked down the hall, she saw Sebastian standing in front of her room. She stopped in her tracks and immediately turned to leave. Alas, Sebastian saw her. "Roxanne," he called out.
