Chapter 19

Jocelyn managed to tamp down her irritation despite hearing Tiffany's words. She could not afford to have another outburst. She then asked, "Isn't it about time you tell me who she is, Micah?" Micah was slightly stunned at her words. "She's Tiffany Young. You've seen her before." He did not expect that Jocelyn could not recognize Tiffany. Jocelyn's eyes went wide when she heard his words. After a while, she stammered, "Why is she here? Isn't she supposed to be in South City?" Tiffany linked her arms with Micah's and said, "I missed my husband a lot when he was away. I was worried that he might be feeling lonely in a foreign country, so I purposely came over to keep him company." Micah pulled his arm back. One could see that he was not interested in Tiffany's story. "I'll send you back after breakfast." "I don't want to go home. I want to stay here with you." "That’s unnecessary." After saying that, Micah turned and walked toward his study. Tiffany quickly trailed after him.
