Nia shook her head. "No, I hadn't. But the way they came at me... it was aggressive. I felt threatened, so I ran."
"And you're certain this wasn't a mugging gone wrong?" Torres asked, his tone skeptical.
"I don't think so," Nia said firmly. "They didn't ask for my purse or wallet. They just... came after me."
Torres and Reeves exchanged a look. "Ms. Moreno," Torres said carefully, "is there any reason someone might want to harm you? Any enemies or people you've had conflicts with recently?"
Nia hesitated, weighing her options. "Not that I can think of," she said finally. "I'm just a regular office worker. I can't imagine why anyone would target me."
Detective Torres leaned back in his chair, studying her face. "Alright, Ms. Moreno. We'll look into this Vanessa and see if we can track down any witnesses from the bar. Is there anything else you can remember? Any detail, no matter how small, could be important."
