Drake pretended to be deep in thought. “It’s like we’re on a never-ending quest to discover the quirkiest parts of the city. I’m just waiting for us to stumble upon a llama farm or a medieval jousting tournament next.”
“Don’t give me any ideas,” I said, playfully nudging him. “I might just take you up on that challenge.”
As we continued walking, we passed a street performer juggling flaming torches. Drake stopped, eyes wide with fascination. “Now, that’s something you don’t see every day.”
I watched the performer with a mix of awe and concern. “Yeah, I hope he’s got a fire extinguisher nearby.”
Drake grinned. “If we’re lucky, he might even pull us into his act. Imagine us juggling flaming torches. It would definitely make for an interesting story.”
I laughed, imagining the scene. “I can see the headline now: ‘Local Couple Adds Fire Juggling to Their List of Talents—Hospital Visit Ensues.’”
Drake chuckled. “I think I’ll stick to our current track of adventures. Maybe next
