CHAPTER 56: ITS MY FAULT
Drakon was busy with a phone call when Shirley stepped out. The moment he noticed her, he hung up the call immediately.
"Hey," He said. "What did you guys talk about?"
Shirley stared silently at Drakon as Amandla's words replayed in her head; Drakon would never have babies.
Drakon moved closer to her, sensing something was wrong. "Shirley, what's wrong? What did she say to you?"
Shirley shook her head and forced a smile on her face. "It's nothing. Amandla was being Amandla, running her mouth as usual."
He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Are you sure?"
Shirley nodded her head. "Yeah." She wrapped her hands around him and began to walk. "We do need to talk when we get home."
He stopped her. "Talk about what? Shirley, if there's something to discuss, let's talk about it here."
"The trees have ears." She said.
"No, they don't," Drakon mumbled, walking after her.
