Chapter 382: Home at Last

We were back on the ship, to my surprise. And to my even greater surprise, Connor and Amalia seemed to be exchanging what looked like kisses from afar. Well, maybe not exactly kisses, but it sure seemed that way to me. Perhaps I was exaggerating, but every time she saw him, she blushed, and he would smile in return.
"Try your best," he had said, but this looked more like her getting ahead of herself. Of course, I wasn’t going to stop it. It was adorable to watch.
The sea monster that had reared its ugly head when we first arrived on the shore of that small island appeared again. This time, however, it was surprisingly easy to kill. Morgana barely lifted a finger, as did Connor, who focused on steering the ship away from the creature. At one point, he even steered the ship toward it when I screamed that I had a bright idea on how to attack it.
Connor wasted no time. The ship moved as quickly as it could, though, frankly, I thought it wasn’t fast enough. Heck, I could run fast
