It was rather strange for Frederick to watch the black fog get closer. Incidentally, and gratefully enough, the fog stopped.
“How long has it been moving for?” I asked a soldier beside him.

“Any word from the border with Diamond Moon?” Frederick asked Paul when he saw him.
“Yes,” Paul said. “The drones we’ve developed are fully functional. Looks like whatever it is that we’ve done over the past few days has been working.”
