Chapter Sixty Nine
The place was bare. I once knew this place, Long time ago I’d been here with Henry and Nana Helen. The day at the Amoria fare was a treasured memorize that ended horribly but still a lovely memory none the less. The place was desert now, the horse stable burnt down, it looked like it had happened a while back, weeds were growing all around it, the once well-manicured green field was dry and patchy, it looked abandoned deserted almost. The smell however was something different, It smelt like rotting corpses mixed with the smell of vampires and something else, something that sent shockwaves through me.
“What’s that smell,” Mage said as she coughed and brought her hand towards her nose. Everyone had been trying to cover their noses.
“What’s that,” Faran said staring at the tree line. There was a shadow at first but then something moved. It stared at us. Just that one.
“By the Mothers soul what is that.” Faran said and I could feel the fear rising in them. The creature looked like a vampir
