Deak sipped his drink as he watched his girl laugh and talk with the people around her. He was anxious that Vita had spent most of the night keeping her distance from him. They hadn’t had a chance to talk about what happened when she astral projected back to his place in search of small girl. He assumed she would have told him what happened if she had learned anything.
