Xavuis barreled down the hall toward us once we entered the order’s headquarters. “There’s been another incident.” His eyes found Azalea and his brows knitted together. “Why is a human here?”
“She’s involved with the incident that took place at club Oblivion.” Azalea tried to move for the door and I slammed a hand down on her shoulder, dragging her back to my side. She cursed, scowling up at me.
“How involved?” Xavius appeared interested. “She doesn’t look like she wants to be here.”
“That’s because she’s working for them,” I retorted. “For which side, we have yet to find out.”
“Yeah.” Jace took out all his collected evidence from his jacket and handed it to Xavius. “Run tests on those. We do know vamps and rogues are working together.”
Xavius gaped at him. “Are you fucking serious?”
“As serious as day,” Jace quipped. “And they’re messier than before.”
