CHAPTER NINETY-THREE BROKEN SPIRITS
JAVION'S POV
We crouched low in the underbrush, the tension in the air thick enough to cut with a knife. My heart pounded in my chest as I scanned the treeline, waiting for the Lycans to appear.
The plan was simple but risky: ambush them as they moved toward our pack. It was the only way to catch them off guard and level the playing field.
“Luca,” I whispered, glancing at my Beta who was beside me. “Remember, we hit them hard and fast. No holding back. We need to take out as many as we can before they realize what’s happening.”
Luca nodded, his eyes fierce with determination. “Understood, Alpha. We’ll make them regret stepping foot on our territory.”
I looked over my shoulder at the warriors behind us. Each one of them was ready, their muscles tensed, eyes focused. We had trained for this, but nothing could truly prepare you for the chaos of battle. I just hoped we were ready.
