“Thank you, Mr. Xander.” Lianne would have lost her life if it were not for Pete’s timely rescue.
Giving Lianne no attention, Pete disappeared into the dark of the night.
Even though Pete was gone, Lianne still had to resume her mission.
She looked around and walked cautiously in case another feral dog jumped on her.
Thank goodness for her, danger did not stare her in the face again. Lianne managed to purchase the necessary sanitary product and returned to the hotel without a hitch.
Lianne stepped into the hotel and met Dr. Leah at the entrance of her room. By the looks of it, Dr. Leah had been waiting for a while.
Dr. Leah was not part of the entourage on the trip to Weston either. Yet, she was here.
The mother and son seemed to be everywhere without anybody noticing them.
Dr. Leah said with a smile, “Zane is worried about your injury, so he told me to come along to check on you.”
Lianne invited her into the room. “Sorry for the trouble, Dr. Leah.”
