Selena turned to me, glancing at the throng of people in front of us. "Hud, the ride hasn't started yet. If you're having second thoughts, we can still back out. If you're scared, we can ask the staff to let us off. Don't worry about the money; we can afford it." I knew she was concerned that I might be scared since it was my first time, and I understood that starting something new can be daunting. But without taking that first step, how could I ever move forward? I sighed. "Selena, I'm not as fragile as you think." She didn't respond and just looked at me with her big eyes. The roller coaster had started moving, and I watched as our seats slowly ascended, the incline increasing with each passing moment. It would be a lie to say I wasn't scared—my heart raced as I worried about whether the ride would malfunction or if the staff hadn't secured every
