Janice gripped the car keys and walked over quickly. "Aren't you supposed to be in Lakeshore City?"
Edward looked down at her for a moment before nodding. "Didn't you hope I'd come back today?"
A buzz resonated in Janice's mind. She felt a bit flustered and was momentarily at a loss for words as no one had shown such concern for her words before.
"You've been working till this late? How about grabbing a late-night snack?"
Janice nodded. "Sure! What do you feel like eating?"
"Get in the car first."
Instead of getting into the car next to him, Edward walked toward the Cullinan. Janice followed him and naturally took the driver's seat. Upon receiving a signal from Edward, she started the engine and drove off.
Edward fastened his seatbelt in the front passenger seat and said, "I'm not hungry. You pick the place."
