CHAPTER FIFTEEN JEALOUS

Kennedy scoffed. “That's right. If you don't know how to thank me with words, you can at least show it through actions!” Bella was speechless. She bad forgotten how insufferably arrogant this man could be. But then, she owed him big time for all his help today. She decided to swallow her retort. She walked into the kitchen and soon came out with a glass of water which she passed to Kennedy. Then she went into the kitchen again and came out with a box of biscuits which she dropped on the table before Kennedy. “Thanks for your help. I hope this would be enough to keep you till you get back to the restaurant.” Bella said. Kennedy frowned. Here it was again. She was dismissing him. Does she really not care about him or was she just playing hard to get? Either way, Kennedy couldn't take it anymore. He glared at Bella. “What's wrong with you? Why are you so eager to send me off? Do you have a problem with me?” he shot one question after another. Bella looked at him in surprise.
