Amaya was discharged from the hospital that day, and Julie handled the procedures.
As for Christian, Amaya claimed they'd had another fight, and he'd gone missing.
Julie was speechless but refrained from commenting.
After leaving the hospital, Amaya suggested they go shopping to pick up some daily essentials.
The two of them headed straight to the supermarket, and after buying everything on the list, they grabbed a cab to Julie's apartment.
Amaya sat in the living room and scanned the compact space. She glanced toward Julie, who was busy rinsing vegetables in the kitchen. "Your place is way too cramped, Jules. You can't even fit more than two people in here."
Julie rinsed the vegetables as she replied, "I think it's fine. Besides, it's close to the companies I've been applying to."
"You've started job hunting?"
Julie nodded. "Yeah, but I haven't landed anything yet."
Just after she spoke, Amaya sprang up and rushed over. "Let's start a business together, Jules!"
