Chapter 18
He started to sweat furiously as he saw the shadow and his colleagues inside heard was a loud scream. "Picky! Picky!" They called out but all they heard was groans and gags.
The last robber standing outside ran inside to join his colleagues inside. He was terrified and ran inside to surrender.
"J, bob please let's go. There's something in this place! They got Picky and the others! Let's go!" He said.
"Where's your gun you fool?" J asked him angrily.
The light came on and Gay's face was entirely transformed.
The three of them ran towards the door after they realized that their gun was of no use. One after the other guy ripped them off flesh to bone.
Steel came downstairs to meet the mess.
"Gay, you made a mess clean it up!" He ordered.
Gay too the almost dead bodies to serve them to other werewolves in the area for dinner.
****
Chris knows that he is in a messy situation especially now by shuffling between three different women his wife, her best friend Barbara and his gem violet. The thought of this made him scared but he also thought you man enough and handle as many women as he wants.
I couldn't be hard. Although now his wife was back from my trip so he had to behave.
Or he thought at least he could blackmail Barbra and stop seeing her. Then go back to his sweet life with Violet.
He had not been happy since violet declined his gift and gave him an ultimatum.
He wasn't ready to divorce his wife neither was he ready to let violet go.
He wishes he could have them both without problems. But violet is making it so hard for him. They are good the way they are. Why would she want something more when he gives her everything?
Barbra on the other hand has been bugging his phones with texts and sexual memes. She wants more of him. Chris was already frustrated at her bugging.
He had been meeting with her for a while now but he can only tolerate her for a while.
He has been avoiding her for a while now and she has been acting like a stalking little bitch According to him.
Barbra looks for every opportunity to squeeze herself i his space even when his wife is around.
It's been draining for him and he plans to break it off with her this time.
He was in his home relaxing with his wife when a call came in from Barbra.
He ran outside to pick her call as his phone rang.
"Hey, I know that I shouldn't be calling you but I miss you so much and I want to see you again." She said.
"What is wrong with you Barbra? Is your husband not around or something?" Chris replied angrily.
"My wife is back and I can't see you anymore. I thought we already sorted this out. I can't do this anymore I'm tired"
"Hey font talk to me like that. I still have your secret!" She threatened.
"Barbra your threat won't work anymore, we're in this together now! There are things I can say too. Barbra please don't call me again" he hung up angrily.
He went to his bedroom to lays bed to cool off and also ponder on how he hit himself into this mess.
Sandra walked into the room and met Chris on the bed just looking at the ceiling.
"Honey, what's on your mind apart from you missing me?"
"Sandra told me that she we you at the airport on the day of the storm."
His heart skipped several beats. Did Barbra just expose him? He was surprise but at the Same Sandra does not hmm look angry or anything
"Oh yeah I was picking up a client when the storm started but he couldn't Make it due to the weather." He lied.
Why would Barbra even tell that to his wife, that bitch!
The tourists that moved to Chester city seem to want to explore everywhere till they are satisfied. They went from place to place to make a documentary with their cameras. Today, one of them decided to visit the prison after hearing that the crime rate has drastically reduced.
They wrote a petition to the mayor to visit the prison and the mayor granted them the offer.
Elizabeth Fletcher is a very curious journalist she was famous for writing a lot of awesome articles and documentaries for big companies and she is very recognized for her work.
The mayor couldn't say no to her after all. After visiting the prison, she asked where the notorious criminals are kept and she was told they the go to work on sea.
"Criminals like murder, rapist and psycho serial killers, pedophiles are put to work at the sea"
"Is that even legal, they still have their human rights you know"
The head of the prison guard laughed.
"That's hilarious, once you are found guilty of these terrible offenses, you are stripped of your human rights." He said.
"I will like to see them" Mrs. Fletcher said
"Sorry what?" He asked.
"I said I want to see the criminals" she repeated.
Look this is a state affairs and you can't meddle in it. Our city is safe without people like this"
Do you know the kind of harsh condition that you put these people through by taking them to work on the sea?
"Don't talk hard condition to me. Do you know what they put their victims through?"
He brought out the file of these notorious criminals and pointed.
"Joel Carrick, fifty-year-old man rapes kids. He raped a two-year-old boy to death! The mother of the boy committed suicide after this."
"Allen lavender Fourth three-year-old man raped victims for fun then skins them for satisfaction!"
"Astrid Yacob, lures people with job offers, knocks them out and remove all their organs to sell"
Shall I go on Mrs. Fletcher?
So tell me about human right one more time! If you want to keep your human rights why don't you first act like a human?"
So if they are in a harsh condition let them be. Most of they were to life imprisonments anyways"
Mrs. Fletcher went user for a while "But I still want to visit then and make a documentary about them"
"Well I can't give you the go ahead. You should ask the mayor he said.
The next day Mrs. Fletcher visited the mayor to talk to him about doing a documentary and writing articles about the criminals and also visiting the ones that were on the sea but the mayor was not buying it.
"There are a lot of things you can write about; so why do you choose to write about the criminals in Chester city? It's like you are trying to tarnish our image"
"No that's not what I'm trying to do. I want people to see how well you've kept your city and how you handle criminals. Do you know how many companies and business you will attract to this place when they see that they don't have to worry about criminals." She explained.
"Why don't you just write about it? Must you see it?" The mayor said.
"Seeing is believing sir" She smiled.
"Well I can't make any promises at the moment you will have to come back. Let me make some calls."
"No problem I will give you a call tomorrow."
"No don't call me, I'll call you." He called his assistant immediately and ask him to put it on His agenda.
Mayor Campbell called steel immediately she left the office.
"My Damien, how are you doing today?" He asked cheerfully.
"I am very well; to what do I owe this honor?" Steel asked.
"The honor is all mine. I just wanted to ask for a little favor." He said.
"So there are these journalists in town, they are interest in visiting the prisoners that we shipped to the sea to know…" Steel cut him off immediately.
"What are you talking about Campbell? The sea is no place for an ordinary person and why will I want mosey people in my business? I'm sorry I'll have to decline." He said
"MR Damien this journalist is not one we can easily decline. Once she has her mind on something she wouldn't budge"
"Who is she? I need her name and address"
"Don't know where she is staying but I'll send you her phone number." The mayor said.
