Chapter 408
At that moment, a shrill scream pierced Andrew's ears. It was so intense that it felt like it could tear the roof apart.
Terry had finally broken free from his physical restraints, thrashing wildly in a desperate attempt to ease his agony.
But it was futile. Andrew's gaze stayed locked on him, unflinching. His voice was calm, detached, as though discussing something mundane. "You ought to know that pain isn't the only scary thing in the world."
Terry's body trembled, his eyes filled with terror. He finally understood that the man before him was far more formidable than he had imagined.
Taking a deep breath, Terry stammered, "Please, just let me go. I'll tell you whatever you want to know. Please, stop!" Tears streamed down his face as he pleaded.
Yet, Andrew remained unresponsive. He stood expressionless as if he hadn't heard Terry's pleas. His heart was filled with ice and resolve. There would be no mercy or sympathy for his enemy.
Anyone who became his enemy had to be ready
