The safe house was buzzing with activity. Ava, Lucas, and the rest of the team crowded around a table piled high with documents, laptops, and hastily scribbled notes. The tension was palpable—everyone knew they were on the verge of something monumental. They had secured valuable evidence from the warehouse, but Collins wouldn’t give up without a fight.
Jess was at the center of it all, her fingers flying over her laptop keyboard. "I’m going through these files as fast as I can," she said, her voice tight with concentration. "There’s a lot to sort through—financial records, transaction logs, encrypted communications. This is exactly the paper trail we need to expose Collins.”
Ava leaned over the table, her eyes scanning the pages before her. “We need to find something that links him directly to the politicians and the mercenaries. Something that makes it impossible for him to hide.”
