Chapter 140: Feeling uncomfortable

As she showered, Jennifer thought about how men should know when to take hints and leave women the fuck alone. She thought about how they should be able to read social cues and understand when someone was not interested. She thought about how they should not make women feel trapped and uncomfortable and how they should respect women's boundaries. Jennifer felt a sense of anger and frustration as she thought about these things. She felt like she had been polite and friendly but had still been subjected to unwanted attention. She felt like she had done nothing to encourage the man's behavior, and yet he had still refused to leave her alone. As she got out of the shower and dried off, Jennifer felt a sense of determination wash over her. She knew that she couldn't change the way men behaved, but she could change how she reacted to them. She knew that she didn't have to be polite and friendly if she didn't want to be and that she could stand up for herself and set boundaries. Jen
