Sharon merely nodded, not saying a word. She then shifted her gaze to me, her expression oddly contemplative.
I frowned but didn't dwell on her demeanor.
"Sharon, whether you believe it or not, Javin's true nature isn't what you think. I suggest you look carefully." I gave her one last warning before I settled the bill and walked out.
Once I got home, I took out my computer and organized the evidence I had recently gathered into a document to send to the competition organizers.
"Hello, I am Kaelan Leroy. I would like to clarify the plagiarism incident. Below are the pieces of evidence supporting my clarification. Please take a look."
It didn't take long for them to respond. "We sincerely apologize, Mr. Leroy. We were mistaken about you. To express our regret, we have decided to invest in your game proposal."
Seeing that I had secured another investment filled me with joy. "When can I expect the results of the competition?"
