"I've recorded everything you just said. So, you might want to watch your backs—Javin and Sharon's people could be coming for you," I said calmly, pulling out my phone and flashing it in front of them.
After a brief pause, I opened WhatsApp and went to Sharon's chat.
The screen displayed our conversation history. I couldn't help but chuckle bitterly. Most of the messages were from me, with barely any replies from her.
I sent the recording and found myself oddly anticipating Sharon's response.
A few minutes later, a voice message came through.
I took a deep breath and hit play. Sharon's voice cut through the silence with a sharp edge. "Kaelan, are you really this desperate? All this effort just to slander Javin?"
I frowned, my fingers flying over the screen as I composed a reply.
"Slandering him? The proof's right in front of you, and you still refuse to believe it? Have you even bothered to check Javin's background? Do you even know who he really is? Don't let yourself be duped
