Chapter 48 : New rule

MAXINE. Theo meets my eyes. The announcement continues to blare from the speakers but it doesn't seem like he has a plan to leave. I can't bring myself to move either. "Keep talking," he tells me, and it's not a request. It's a command. "Describe to me what you've seen." Theo just stares at me, the pain in his eyes growing more and more unbearable. I have to look away to keep myself sane for a second. But of course, he advances towards me, taking his time. I can still feel the sharpness of his gaze on me
