Chapter 114 The Studio Crisis
Cordelia glanced at the message on her phone, lost in thought. Thomas knew her situation. If it wasn't for something important, he wouldn't bother her.
Just as she was about to reply, Benedict's figure loomed over her, blocking the light above her head.
"It's time to go."
His tone was icy as if he were merely giving her a notification, then started walking toward the door without waiting for her response.
Cordelia hurried to catch up with him. Once they were inside the elevator, she hesitated for a moment before speaking softly, "Can I make a quick stop at the studio? They're probably looking for me for something urgent."
As soon as she uttered those words, Benedict's expression turned serious instantly, like a sunny day turning into a blizzard, with biting cold winds.
He gave her a sidelong glance, his eyes cold. "Is it really an emergency, or does he just want to see you?"
