ARIELLA.
While waiting for the moon spirit to appear, I began feeling anxious because the smell of blood downstairs got stronger. I wanted to throw up because in my mind I could imagine that they had killed another person and were now feasting on their blood. A few seconds later, David came back to the room with a wheelchair, something that I would have never expected.
"Here's your wheelchair, Ariella. You can use it while your body is still paralyzed," he said, but I wasn't looking at him or the wheelchair. I just stared outside the window at the night sky, hoping that I would get visited by the mysterious moon spirit. "Come on now. You don't have to be like this."
That's when I glared at him. "You really are something, David," I said coldly with a disgusted look. "Do you think that I will warm up to you because you're giving me a wheelchair?"
"Of course not, Ariella. I just want to help you."
"If you really want to help me, then why don't you actually help me? Like letting me go
