Chapter 27

ARIELLA. I woke up in an unfamiliar room, but I could smell a scent that I thought was familiar. It horrified me when I realized that it was the smell of human blood. I tried to get up from the wooden bed but for some reason, I could not move my body. I think I was paralyzed even though I didn't feel any numbness in me. I racked my brain trying to remember what had happened to me before I passed out because I wanted to know where I possibly was. Because by the looks of it, (and the smell too) it seemed that I was no longer in the town. The noise of birds outside was proof enough that I was somewhere greener. "Oh God," I said, then cursing at myself because I just remembered what happened.
