Chapter 16 Disguised
Georgia was dressed in a light pink dress, her long hair falling on her shoulders.
She was sitting in a café, glancing at her phone screen from time to time.
Before long, she spotted the figure she was looking for outside the window, walking towards her.
Sabrina wore a mask, a baseball cap, and sunglasses covering half her face.
As she entered the café, she immediately saw Georgia.
Holding the forged documents, she walked towards Georgia.
"Georgia, here is what you asked for."
Georgia's face lit up with joy.
Ignoring Sabrina's strange disguise, she eagerly opened the file bag.
Sabrina was not worried at all that Georgia would discover anything, as all these documents were forged before she returned to the country.
"Miss, may I offer you something to drink?"
The waiter smiled at Sabrina, with a hint of doubt in his eyes.
Dressed like this in the scorching heat inevitably made people feel strange.
"No, thank you."
The waiter politely walked away, but couldn't resist whispering to his colleague.
On the other side of the café, Mark smiled at his friend sitting opposite him.
"You mean Tiana is Sabrina?"
"Yes."
Travis nodded coldly.
"I never expected that." Mark sighed.
Travis pursed his lips, his eyes deep and mysterious.
Although Sabrina had shown no flaws in her reaction at the time, he still harbored suspicions deep down.
Everything couldn't possibly be just a coincidence like that.
"Waiter." Mark beckoned.
The waiter immediately stopped whispering to his colleague, smiled and walked over to Mark.
Seeing Mark's handsome face, the waiter couldn't help but blush.
"Sir, may I offer you something to drink?"
Mark, looking at the cute waiter, joked, "What were you discussing just now?"
Blushing furiously, the waiter whispered, "We were discussing the strange customer over there."
"Oh? How strange?" Mark's interest was piqued.
Facing Mark's irresistibly charming face, the waiter had no resistance and spilled the beans. "There's a female customer over there wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a mask. She hasn't taken them off since entering, all mysterious."
Mark raised an eyebrow and ordered a cup of coffee.
With a wink, he pushed the menu towards Travis.
Seeing that face, the waiter became somewhat awkward in his speech.
"Sir... Sir, may I offer you something to drink?"
The waiter dared not look up at Travis, who exuded a powerful aura that made people feel a sense of fear.
Looking at that exquisitely crafted face, the waiter couldn't help but steal a glance again.
Travis finished ordering and let out a slight hum.
The waiter reluctantly turned away from the table.
Mark shook his head and commented, "My charm is no match for your icy face? Unbelievable!"
Travis ignored his friend's antics.
"Never mind, I'm getting used to it."
Mark sighed.
"But I am curious, who could dress like that in this weather? Could it be a celebrity?"
A hint of curiosity flashed in Mark's eyes as he scanned the entire space.
The café had several partitions, each space providing enough privacy.
However, Georgia and Sabrina were seated by the window, directly facing Mark's side.
He could see them by just turning around.
He saw Georgia and Sabrina's back.
"Travis, guess who I saw."
Mark turned to look at Travis, smiling.
Travis glanced at his friend's silly smile, expressionless.
Mark was not surprised at Travis's attitude.
"I saw Georgia, she's sitting with that strange woman."
"And?"
Travis's cold voice indicated his lack of interest.
Mark exclaimed in a low voice, "Aren't you curious about what Georgia is up to?"
After a few seconds of pause, Travis coldly replied.
"If you put this effort into the company, your family would be delighted."
Mark's face immediately fell, once again hit by his friend's words.
His heart was not in the company at all, but his family had only him as the sole heir.
The whole family was urging him to inherit the family business.
"Travis, don't be such a killjoy!"
Mark's eyes suddenly noticed the movement of two people.
"Travis, look!" Mark exclaimed.
Travis helplessly looked over.
He saw Georgia leaving the café with a file bag, but the mysterious woman on the opposite side did not leave.
Instead, she removed her disguise and waved to call the waiter.
As the woman turned around, Travis saw her face clearly.
A hint of suspicion flashed in Travis's eyes.
Without hesitation, he got up and walked towards her.
"Travis, where are you off to? Do not abandon me at the sight of a beauty!"
Mark extended his hand in the air, making a futile attempt to grab Travis's hem.
Having just hoodwinked Georgia with fake credentials and making a profit out of it, Sabrina was feeling content.
She was in the midst of sending a message to Nicole, instructing her to take care of the enrollment procedures for her kids.
Suddenly, she found herself overshadowed by a figure.
Startled, Sabrina raised her head and gazed into a pair of deep, dark eyes.
The man's eyes were not masking his suspicion towards Sabrina, which sent shivers down her spine.
"Tiana, we meet again."
Travis sat opposite her, his gaze assessing Sabrina.
This woman is too suspicious.
Sabrina awkwardly forced a smile, "What a coincidence, Travis."
"You don't want to see me here?"
Travis's eyes held a hint of amusement while his tone remained icy.
"I dare not," Sabrina whispered.
Having recently taken on a major project from Travis, he was now her supporter.
Travis hummed lightly, his gaze lingering on the sunglasses on the table.
Meeting with Georgia here while disguised, what was her purpose of concealing her identity?
