Chapter 37 A Late Amos
[Aimee]
Amos arrived at the Sirian Empire’s third clash with the werewolves in the West.
He had been late for a whole week.
Judging by his tidy outfit, he didn’t seem like he had traveled from afar. He looked like he was on a leisure trip.
“Ah, it’s you, Lady Aimee.” He checked me out before letting out a cunning smile.
“Women aren’t allowed in the army. Why are you here?”
Before I could answer, Mars came forward.
“She’s with me as a helper. Do you have a problem with me, Prince Amos?”
“Ha! Of course not. I was just curious about when Miss Aimee could start treating patients.”
I didn’t want to give Amos the time of the day, so I gave him the side eye before returning to the tent.
Oblivious to my annoyance, he followed me into the tent.
Amos stepped into the tent and said exaggeratedly while pinching his nose, “What is that smell? It stinks here.”
I saw a few young soldiers hanging their heads in shame.
It didn’t matter to me whether he was royalty at this point.
