"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just here for work, and what happened earlier was purely coincidental," I said firmly.
Hayden just smirked as he closed the hotel's back door. I immediately sensed trouble brewing. This psychopath was capable of anything.
Three years ago, I nearly died because of him. If I did not leave now, things could get ugly in this dark alley, especially with his men ready to jump in.
I turned around and inserted my key into my motorcycle's ignition, but Hayden quickly spoke up, "Why the rush, Thaddeus? Can't two brothers sit down and catch up?"
"We have nothing to discuss," I replied coldly as I put on my helmet. There was nothing to talk about between us—only deep-seated hatred.
He walked toward me, saying, "How can you say that? After all these years, we have so much to discuss—both past and present."
I ignored him and tried to start my motorcycle. However, he stepped in front of it with his hands in his pockets, blocking my path.
