I was totally at a loss for words.
When Ophelia saw me staying silent, she chided, "Thaddeus, you can't change your ways, can you? What a shame. Because this time, I'll never trust you again!"
With that, she turned and walked straight into the club. "Get in here quickly! Or you can watch your salary get deducted down to nothing!"
She disappeared through the dark entrance flickering with neon light and left only those harsh words behind.
I stood at the door and stared at the entrance as my heart sank into utter despair. I had no assets in my name, and I wasn't even qualified for a loan. I had totally no idea what to do next.

I had no choice but to follow her inside.
