Chapter 7

Hector Wei nervously followed behind him. "Sir, please slow down, your leg injuries..." When he arrived at the entrance of the hall, he ran into an angry Trixie Chu. Trixie Chu's expression brightened, and she hugged him excitedly, "Brother, you’re back! Are you really going to marry that beggar?" Her voice was bright, and the reporters in the hall looked sideways. Louie Chu's face was cold, and she coldly shook her hand away. his low voice was displeased, "That's what you have to say about your sister-in-law?" Trixie Chu trembled. So her brother actually approved of that woman? "Grow up, show her some respect." Louie warned her in a cold voice, and stepped into the hall. Trixie Chu was trembling with anger, but didn't dare to provoke him further. She'd always thought highly of her half-brother. She didn't dare to leave so willfully. She had to follow behind Louie Chu and head back to the hall. Anna sat next to her at the invitation of the old lady. "Louie has another uncle, my youngest son. He is busy taking care of the company's affairs, so I'll introduce you later when he is free." "Okay, grandma." Anna answered obediently. Turning her eyes, she saw a tall man in a dark suit striding over in an arrogant manner Their eyes met. Hector Wei was dumbfounded. What’s going on? The corners of Louie's cold lips were tight, and his long, narrow and dark eyes stared at Anna. She knew he wasn’t pleased. Anna felt a chill spread all over her body. Meeting his eagle-eyed gaze, her heart suddenly tightened. An invisible palm seemed to have pressed on her neck, making her breathless. Anna’s gaze flickered. Just then, Louie's quiet voice sounded. "Wei, see off the guests." Hector Wei understood what his boss meant and quickly walked to the reporters. "Mr. Chu has to deal with a private matter now. Please delete the videos and photos taken today." The reporters looked at each other. It was one thing to ask them to leave, but the latter request was so puzzling that they all turned to Mrs. Chu. "Louie, what are you doing?" Margarita Song-Chu looked upset. She had personally invited these reporters. "Grandma, I’ll explain later." At Louie Chu’s request, everyone left except for members of the family. The servants were all waiting outside the hall. The fewer people there were, the more serious the matter. Anna was very nervous, but tried her very best not to show it. Seeing Anna Qin's calm appearance, Louie Chu. "Will you leave by yourself, or should I have someone throw you out?" Anna Qin's face instantly paled. Anna Qin moved his lips, but Margarita Song-Chu was puzzled first. "Louie, what do you mean?" "She’s an impostor." Louie Chu's icy gaze was like a sharp sword, stabbing Anna Qin. "How is this possible?" Margarita Song-Chu stood up, "It was you who said you wanted to marry her, you gave her a token, so grandma sent someone to pick her up and bring her home!" She had checked that token. It was genuine. "Grandma, I gave the token to a girl named Chloe Wang. As for her--" Louie narrowed his eyes coldly as he eyed her, "I don't know how she got my token." Margarita Song-Chu was shocked. "She...she’s the wrong woman?" Standing on the side, Trixie Chu smiled contemptuously. "Grandma, I’m sure it’s intentional! Some people have ulterior motives and want to get into the Chu family by any means! This Anna Qin, she’s a fraud!" Suddenly, the Chu family all threw hostile looks at Anna Qin. Louie Chu coldly told Hector. "Call the Wang family." "Yes." Hector Wei stepped aside to call. He returned soon and said, "Lou, Miss Chloe said that the token is gone, and—"Hector Wei took a quick look at Anna Qin and added. "I mentioned Anna Qin, Miss Chloe was surprised. She said that Anna Qin and her are classmates and roommates, and the two people live in the same community. The training ended the day before yesterday. It must have been in the suitcase Anna Qin had helped her pack." The facts seemed to point to her orchestrating all this. It was indeed very plausible. Anna Qin was close to Chloe Wang, so it’s easy for her to steal the token. Louie Chu watched as Anna Qin's eyes become colder and colder, and a powerful aura enveloped Anna Qin's head. "What else do you have to say?" "I haven't stolen the token." Anna Qin subconsciously defended, but when she met Louie's cold eyes, she realized that since it has been dismantled, what's the point of any more rhetoric? She simply confessed. "But I'm indeed posing as..." She now understood the last message sent by her foster mother. She’d been ordered to break off her friendship with Chloe, for this very reason. But her foster mother had dumbly assumed that Louie Chu himself wouldn’t be able to figure it out the moment he saw that she wasn’t Chloe It turned out that it was her friend that they wanted her to impersonate. Though he had cut her off without letting her finish speaking, he already considered her words as an admission of guilt. "So you admit it? You’re a gold digger, that’s what you are. Get rid of her now!" Trixie Chu looked at Anna Qin with contempt. Louie's thin lips were pressed tightly. The look in his eyes was icy cold. Anna Qin's back was stretched straight, and though her arms hung by the sides of her body, her fists were clenched as she listened to him accuse her. After a while, he spoke again. "Don’t bother throwing her out, just call the police to deal with her." Anna Qin's face paled. Wouldn't she be ruined if they took her to the police station? Besides, what about her grandma? What’s going to happen to her?
