For a moment, Sara thought the white wolf was going to finish what the black rogue had started.
But instead of tearing her throat apart, the wolf bit her just enough to taste her blood, and then threw his head back and howled.
One word reverberated in her mind.
Mate.
It was the white wolf's voice, in her mind. She blinked, staring at him as if he were a mirage.
He was declaring that she was his mate.
But how…
Edna whimpered happily, and Sara felt a strange warmth overwhelm her.
Mate.
This strange white wolf was her mate. But how? Just the previous day, she had found out that Christian was her mate. He too had felt the bond between them, so she couldn't have been mistaken. So how could this one too be her mate?
