ARIEL'S POV
Later in the day, we were all seated at the dining table, enjoying the perfect family dinner. The mansion had already been cleaned up, and it took quite some hours. But we were really glad everything was done, and the place was looking normal again, not like a mad man's house.
While eating, we were all silent; no one had said anything, which was not quite pleasing. But this was something meant to happen.
I broke the silence anyway. "So, Janice, care to tell us how school was today?" I asked, hoping to get one of the best conversations.
But Janice's reply wasn't that nice. She said, "It was fine." The tone was just dull as she dug her spoon into her plate.
I sighed, shaking my head. "What about you Ethan? Care to tell us about your day at school?"
