562: THE STRENGTH I NEED
ARIEL'S POV
So, as the day went by, I told Celine everything, and she gave me words of comfort. With my mother dead, I felt so broken. She had now joined my father, and I hoped the both of them would enjoy their time in heaven.
I had already told everyone in the house about it, Janice, Ethan, Randy, Aunt Mariam, the helpers. And my friends were aslo informed; Tessa, Elizabeth, Hannah and others. It was just something painful to talk about.
The day had gotten dark, and I stood outside the mansion with her arms crossed as I was just gazing at the sky. I didn't take my eyes off the stars. I couldn't count them, but I could describe their beauty.
Luke's car appeared, and he quickly got out.
"Ariel," he called my name softly as he quickly walked closer and hugged me. "I'm so sorry for your loss. And I'm sorry I came late when you needed me the most."
"It's.... it's okay, Luke," I told him with underneath my breath. "You were busy. I'm not going to blame you for that."
